Note: The above average turnaround is from the time the repair is received by Fitness Maintenance, repaired and despatched.

Fitness Maintenance is currently the only authorised Polar Service Centre for Australia.

The Polar 2 year guarantee does NOT COVER FAULTS introduced by improper servicing by an unauthorised service centre (ie. jeweller, watchmaker, un-authorised repairers, yourself etc). Polar service centres have Polar approved and manufactured test equipment used by Polar trained service personnel. Polar recommend any servicing be performed by an authorised Service Centre, especially important during the two year warranty period.

Collection or Drop-off of a Polar Heart Rate Monitor for service

If you live in Adelaide and would like to collect your heart rate monitor from Fitness Maintenance, the service centre is located at:

Warranting Servicing

If the servicing of a Polar heart rate monitor is to be conducted under warranty, then please include a copy of your proof of purchase documents from an authorised Polar retailer and clearly print "WARRANTY" in large letters on the outside of the package to ensure priority service. Please also print your name and address on the outside of the package.

Standard Service Charges

Fitness Maintenance charges $39 for all Polar models (or $42.50 for a S-Series Polar heart rate monitor) for a battery replacement in the wrist receiver which includes all parts, labour, a pressure test to ensure water resistance, a 3 month service warranty and return overnight freight. Non acceptance of a quote will incur a small charge to cover labour and return freight.

A quote for the servicing of any Polar heart rate monitor can be supplied upon request.

Note. Items sent in for repair will only be held for 3 months after all attempts to contact the sender for a repair decision have failed.
